Texas Machine Tool International Was Founded in 2002 in Waco, Texas. Three employees in the machine tool industry formed a partnership based on a vision to foster employment for uniquely skilled individuals by rebuilding and retrofitting machines that would provide technological advances in machines to increase customer’s profitability in the marketplace.
In 2006, TMI diversified the business while maintaining the core competency of machine tool manufacturing and assembly. Today, there are three business segments: Machine Tool Services, Dimensional Services, and Aerospace Tooling & Fixturing.
Since its inception, the company has experienced financial and employment growth each year through unparalleled customer service, investment in technology, diversification into new areas all while adhering to a fundamental business practices put in place on day one. In 2009, the company built a 24,000 square foot facility to support the new business segments and growth. TMI currently has 25 permanent full time employees and 6 contract employees with a wide range of skills and experience. TMI has less than a 1% average turnover rate since the company started. TMI views each employee as an asset and strives to provide a work environment that is challenging and gives personal development while achieving our primary goal of meeting customer satisfaction.
